Art Team
At Tiffin University, Visual Arts students have the opportunity to have real-world experiences right on campus.
Students are integral members of the TU Art Team, a dynamic collective dedicated to producing a diverse array of visual arts and design-related work on campus.
This team serves as a creative hub, cultivating an environment where individuals can collaborate, innovate, and express themselves through various artistic mediums.
The scope of the Art Team’s work is expansive, encompassing a wide range of creative endeavors. Some of the initiatives and projects undertaken by the TU Art Team include:
- Exhibitions and Installations: Curating and organizing art exhibitions and installations in the mini galleries on campus. This might involve showcasing student artworks, thematic displays, or guest artist exhibitions in each mini gallery.
- Mural Projects: Collaborating on large-scale mural projects that not only beautify campus spaces but also convey meaningful messages or themes through visual storytelling.
- Digital Media Design: Crafting visuals for websites, social media platforms, and digital marketing to promote campus/community events and initiatives.
- Workshops: Hosting workshops and skill-building activities. These events might focus on various art techniques, such as painting, sculpture, digital art, or photography, aimed at fostering both creativity and technical expertise among participants.
- Community Engagement: Initiating art-related community outreach programs, partnering with local schools or organizations to bring art education and creative experiences to broader audiences.

TU Mini Art Galleries
The TU Mini Art Galleries is a collaborative project, designed and brought to life by the talented members of the Tiffin University Art Team. This initiative is the embodiment of our commitment to fostering creativity and engaging with the community, providing a unique platform for artistic expression and appreciation.
The Mini Art Galleries project is a testament to the innovative spirit of the Tiffin University Art Team. Comprising of two miniature art spaces, each gallery has been designed and crafted to offer an immersive experience for visitors, with an eclectic array of art forms that range from painting to sculpture and mixed media. These galleries are an embodiment of our commitment to fostering creativity and engaging with the community, providing a unique platform for artistic expression and appreciation.

Diane Kidd Art Gallery
The Diane Kidd Art Gallery is open to the public during the academic year on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 2pm, Wednesdays from 10am to 5pm, or by appointment with Joe Van Kerkhove (vankerkhovejm@cjpk.net). Group tours of the gallery’s shows are also available. The Diane Kidd Gallery is located in the Hayes Center for the Arts.
